TestMu AI
What is TestMu AI?
TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) is a native AI-agentic cloud platform for quality engineering. It replaces brittle, code-heavy test suites with testing agents that author, execute, analyse and maintain tests — while keeping the scale of a full cross-browser and real-device cloud behind them. At the centre is KaneAI, the GenAI-native testing agent: describe a test in plain English and it authors, executes and self-heals it. Kane CLI brings that same engine to the terminal, IDE and CI, and installs as a skill inside AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI. Around them sits a full platform — HyperExecute for blazing-fast automation runs, Real Device Cloud for web and mobile testing on actual hardware, Browser Cloud for scalable agent-driven browser sessions, SmartUI for automated visual regression, an Accessibility Testing Agent, Agent Testing for validating AI agents across chat, voice and video, plus AI-native Test Management and Test Insights. The platform serves 3M+ users and 18,000+ enterprises across 132 countries, has executed 1.5B+ tests, and connects to 120+ CI/CD and collaboration tools. Customers include Microsoft, OpenAI, NVIDIA, GitHub and Workday. TestMu AI was named a Challenger in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI-Augmented Software Testing Tools and recognised in The Forrester Wave: Autonomous Testing Platforms, Q4 2025. Built for developers, QA engineers, SDETs, release managers and the AI agents now writing production code.
How to use TestMu AI?
1. Create an account. Sign up free at testmuai.com — no card needed. One dashboard covers every product. 2. Pick your entry point. Most teams start one of three ways: author a test in natural language with KaneAI, run an existing Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium suite on the cloud grid, or verify a flow from your terminal with Kane CLI. 3. Author in plain English. In KaneAI, type what should happen — "log in, add a laptop to the cart, apply SAVE10, verify the total". The agent generates the steps, runs them in a real browser or on a real device, and self-heals when the UI shifts. Export to Playwright or Selenium code whenever you want to own the script. 4. Verify from the terminal. Install with npm install -g @testmuai/kane-cli, run kane-cli login, then kane-cli run "verify checkout works end-to-end". Deterministic pass or fail plus a shareable evidence link. To wire it into an AI coding agent, run npx @testmuai/kane-cli-skill. 5. Scale execution. Point your suite at HyperExecute for parallel runs, or at Real Device Cloud and Browser Cloud for device and agent-scale coverage. Add SmartUI for visual regression and the Accessibility Agent for WCAG checks. 6. Wire into CI/CD. Connect GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, Slack and 120+ other integrations so every build reports pass/fail with video, logs and screenshots. 7. Analyse and act. Test Manager stores every run; Test Insights surfaces flakiness, failure patterns and AI-generated root-cause analysis.
TestMu AI's Core Features
Natural-language test authoring with KaneAI — describe a test in plain English; the agent writes, runs and self-heals it, and exports to Playwright or Selenium when you want the code.
Terminal- and agent-native verification with Kane CLI — run real-browser flows from your shell, IDE or CI, with deterministic pass/fail and a one-command skill install for Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI.
Massive-scale execution cloud — HyperExecute for blazing-fast parallel automation, Real Device Cloud for web and mobile on actual hardware, Browser Cloud for agent-driven browser sessions.
AI-native visual and accessibility testing — SmartUI catches pixel-level visual regressions automatically; the Accessibility Testing Agent audits sites against WCAG.
Unified test management and AI insights — every run stored with video, logs and screenshots; Test Insights surfaces flakiness, failure patterns and AI-generated root-cause analysis across 120+ integrations.
TestMu AI's Use Cases
- #1
Ship features faster without writing test code — product and engineering teams author regression suites in plain English instead of maintaining thousands of lines of Selenium.
- #2
Verify AI-generated code in a real browser — AI coding agents build features but can't confirm they work; Kane CLI gives them a deterministic pass/fail verification step before the PR.
- #3
Cross-browser and real-device coverage at release time — run the same suite across browser/OS combinations and real iOS and Android devices to catch environment-specific bugs.
- #4
Cut CI pipeline time — move an existing Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium suite onto HyperExecute for parallel, orchestrated execution and faster feedback per commit.
- #5
Continuous visual and accessibility compliance — automatically flag UI regressions and WCAG violations on every build instead of in a quarterly manual audit.
